Q: What is Connex and what does it do?
A: Connex is a middleware/integration software product, purpose built to perform rule-based data extraction, formatting, routing and other user defined tasks to achieve application integration. Connex provides customers with the ability to:
All of the above is made possible through a drag-and-drop design interface together with an orchestration engine which ensures timely execution of selected procedures.
Q: What is the pricing model for Connex?
A: Peresys' pricing model aims to ensure a sustainable relationship between client and vendor, and although we consider our pricing to be competitive, we do not endeavor to gain or retain customers through short term costing structures. Our pricing also takes into account the in depth industry knowledge and experience of our team spanning front, middle and back office solution implementations and a broad spectrum of local and international buy side systems.
Depending on the scope and complexity of solution/s required, the software license and maintenance agreement is set for an initial period of 24 months, and 12 month renewals thereafter. This approach enables Peresys to plan for and provide sufficient resource capacity for the duration of the project and relationship.
Solution design and implementation is charged at hourly rates. For projects lasting longer than 6 months a discounted negotiated rate is applicable. Peresys also provides longer term (12 months plus) onsite resources based on demand. A number of customers currently avail themselves of this model.
Q: What skills are required to use and support the product?
A: It is strongly recommended that our skilled Peresys resources are utilized during the design and implementation phases of each solution. This will ensure that the client is presented with a high quality solution which is based on best-practices guidelines.
Once implemented the relevant business users will be able to monitor process flows and interact with the system where necessary. Moderately technical staff (client side IT support) will be able to provide first-line support, backed up by telephonic or on-site assistance from Peresys resources.
