Q: What is perFIX?
A: perFIX is a suite of solutions with two distinctive qualities. They are developed by Peresys to meet the challenging needs of our clients, and are all FIX related applications, implementing the FIX protocol so as to conform with global standards yet meet the specific needs of our clients.
It is an ever growing suite of products which currently comprise the following solutions:
- perFIX Trader – an ASP hosted light weight EMS/OMS solution to facilitate FIX order routing across multiple asset classes for both the Buy and Sell Side. It includes client supplied market data, derivative pricing models, exchange interaction and reporting
- perFIX IOI’s – An ASP solution for the sending and receiving of Indication of Interest messages between the Buy and Sell side with full FIX integration possibility’s.
- perFIX Allocations – A post trade ASP allocation application facilitating the allocation process between institutions and their brokers. The solution is for FIX compliant and stand-alone Institution systems thereby allowing Institutions without FIX capability for Allocations to send FIX allocations to Brokers. The solution also covers the extra mile to the Exchange BDA system which significantly enhance Broker efficiency
Q: What do I need to run one of these solutions?
A: perFIX solutions are hosted in the Peresys BPN which has nodes in major centres around South Africa and points of presence in London and New York. The ASP model allows all solutions to be accessed from Internet Explorer 6 or better without installing any additional software. Certain solutions may be accessed via the internet and all are available to clients connected to the Peresys BPN (Business Process Network) a VPN solution. Latest technology has been used to optimise performance and provide a satisfying client experience.
