SA Buy sides route FIX allocations via perFIX

Historically both the buy and sell sides in South Africa have had to endure an allocations process of the equities trade cycle that is very manually intensive and fraught with errors and corrections along the way. In an effort to improve the level of automation and minimize mistakes, Peresys recently implemented its perFIX allocations solution at several buy sides. The key driver is the use of the global FIX messaging standard, as well as leveraging the Peresys Business Process Network which already connects the top SA buy sides and hedge funds to over thirty JSE members and the JSE itself. PerFIX is a web-based, centrally hosted platform that offers multi-asset class solutions spanning the trade cycle.
