Peresys, a South African based software solutions provider to the financial community today announced an agreement with Financial Innovative Technology (FIT), the distributor of Traderforce to integrate the Peresys perFIX© HUB to the Traderforce ASP trading front end giving Traderforce buy side customers FIX enabled access to their sell side counterparties.
The extent of the partnership means that the Peresys perFIX© HUB, a FIX based hub and spoke order routing and direct market access service, will be connected to the Traderforce ASP trading front end. Traderforce is a suite of market data and trading platforms for the financial markets community provided through an ASP and thin client technology.
Says Richard Bell, director of UK and European operations at Peresys, "Historically the use of FIX was seen as a luxury for the buy side traders. In today’s trading environment, traders not using FIX are at a distinct disadvantage vis-à-vis their peers who are capitalizing on the technology.
Peresys will be bringing to the table a proven FIX infrastructure and expertise to facilitate the implementation process of Traderforce clients for transmission of their orders and related messages. In line with our service to customers in South Africa and the UK, Traderforce and its customers will benefit from our one stop shop approach spanning certification, consulting, connectivity and support."
Bell continues, "Ultimately our objective is to provide the background glue for Traderforce clients so they can trade Direct Market Access, Care and Algorithmic Orders with their brokers in a seamless manner using the Traderforce applications."
He concludes that collaborative partnerships between specialist technology organizations are imperative to meet the demands and requirements in advanced trading by the buy side. This partnership will allow the trader to focus on his business of trading rather than trying to keep up with technology enhancements.
The solution offering is worldwide starting off in Europe.
