The Peresys (BPN) is a secure private network which focuses on the low cost and efficient delivery of pre- and post trade messages associated with securities transactions. The Peresys BPN has grown significantly since inception and is now able to offer access to the majority of the enabled market participants through its unique offering of direct connections in conjunction with strategic partnerships. Through this methodology, international counterparties are able to be reached in any global financial centre.

In addition, the BPN provides the backbone for the Peresys perFIX solution set, which includes but is not limited to, the perFIX Hub offering connectivity and FIX based messaging. The full suite of FIX messaging, ranging from Version 4.0 to Version 4.4 across all asset classes, are catered for within the Peresys BPN sphere, with the aim of providing maximum flexibility to clients and network partners.

HUB

Through association with leading FIX engine provider, Cameron Systems, Peresys has established a FIX hub for the European and South African market places. This service may be used by clients who have their own FIX engine and want to connect to trading counter parties via the Peresys BPN.

AFE

Also utilising the BPN, Peresys offers customers the option of making use of an outsourced application FIX engine thus keeping the barrier to entry to FIX services low and justifiable. The initial set of messaging catered for are the ETI related messages being: Buy side orders; trade executions (intra-day fills); trade confirmations (summary trade per order) and allocations.

A FTP module specific to the JSE’s CSD allows for the FTP of allocations directly from perFIX allocations to BDA negating the need for a back office type resource to manually capture the allocations.
